Associates Channel Partner - Sr. Project/Program Manager

The Senior Project/Program Manager will need to oversee and drive the successful development, management, and execution of projects & programs for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment, planning, orchestration, and execution skills for complex engagements. You will have a proven ability to jump in, build from the ground up, and deliver quick-turn deliverables while working against timelines and objectives. You will have many internal and external stakeholders to guide the program. You will enjoy both strategic thinking and tactical problem solving.

Responsibilities:


Staffing & Budgeting:

  • Manage staff of project and program managers; develop skills and capabilities.
  • Recruit and onboard new talent.
  • Manage the department’s and clients’ budgets.

Project and Program Management:

  • Plan projects and programs with customers and staff. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals as stated in key agreements (e.g. Statement of Work).
  • Build and manage project and program launch plans, revisions controls, triage, escalations, and milestone management.
  • Coordinate projects and workstreams and their interdependencies.
  • Align deliverables to the projects’ or programs’ outcomes.
  • Write and shape key deliverables for the client and aligned to the consulting team.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Drive and manage successful delivery of work streams and deliverables; foster relationships to build a spirit of collaboration and success.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Standardize project procedures, checklists, and other tools to initiate, manage, and close down projects.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Measure project performance and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Manage risks and issues; take corrective measures.

Qalification:

  • 10+ years in progressively higher positions in project and program management in high tech; software and hardware sector experience preferred.
  • 5+ years standing up and managing PMOs.
  • Extensive training in waterfall and agile methodologies required. PMP, PgMP, and CSM certifications or similar are preferred.
